Inspired by the harmony between humans and nature in Lecco, Italy, SORLA’s design principle is to create spaces where people live in balance with nature through sustainable architectural interventions. The songs of birds, sounds of the lake, and the interplay of light and shadows at the foot of the mountains — these beautiful imperfections inspire our contextual designs that embrace local wisdom.
SORLA provides full architectural services, including interior design, structural engineering, and building energy modeling, all focused on sustainability and building efficiency. Beyond design, our foundation is dedicated to participatory projects such as religious buildings, educational facilities, and community shelters, reflecting our commitment to balanced and meaningful architecture.
Principal Architect
Led by Jahid Anshori since 2022, SORLA creates architectural works ranging from homes and villas to interiors and commercial spaces. With an architecture background from Brawijaya University and a Master’s in Building and Architectural Engineering from Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy, he has worked with national and international firms. Inspired by his architectural journey across Europe, he believes architecture must always connect with its environment. He currently continues designing spaces defined by what many people call beauty and pleasant.
